ART DIRECTORS CLUB LECTURE
I was asked to give a lecture at the NYC Art Directors Club for the Saturday Career Workshop series which targets juniors in high school interested in pursuing careers in creative fields.
For the first time last Fall, SCW was a component of the Design Ignites Change initiative, in which high school students and their design mentors create powerful projects that address themes of social responsibility in a variety of compelling and thought-provoking ways.
For my lecture, I focused on the power of ambient advertising and how messages in their high school environment could encourage classmates to think about their futures. As an example, I suggested writing messages on the bathroom toliet paper (some of their concepts follow).

BUSINESS CARD REVAMP
I was given a box of very plain business cards within weeks of my new position in the Bloomingdale's Marketing Department. However, I felt like the cards represented the corporation more than they represented me as a designer.
By printing my personal information on transparent stickers and plaacing them over the cards, I created a more personal business card while keeping both identities intact.
